Resources and Ideas for Art at Home
There are many materials you can make art with, here are some ideas! Drawing: Pencils, crayons, markers, pen, sidewalk chalk. You can draw on copy paper, the back of old papers, cardboard, the back of junk mail or outside with sidewalk chalk. Painting: Use paint if you have some. If you don’t have paint you can use coffee, berries mixed with water, and you can even paint over washable markers and paint with that! If you don’t have paint brushes you could use a cotton swab, sponge or q-tip to paint with. - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PARENT HELP WHEN USING PAINT OR THE ALTERNATIVES TO PAINT. Collage: Students can assemble new images using cut outs from magazines, newspapers, cardboard, fabric pieces, ribbon, etc. https://www.tate.org.uk/art/art-terms/c/collage Sculpture: Of course you could use ready made materials like Play Doh, Sculpey or Model magic.
